CUPCAKES!!! YUMMY!!!

CUPCAKES!! You can't go wrong with this one.  The best cupcake ever baked in my oven.  This cupcake is called the Cookies and Cream Cupcake.  Inside every cupcake there is a whole Oreo cookie.  For the topping: Your first layer is a Philadelphia cream cheese icing.  The second layer is soft meringue almost having the taste of a sweetie pie center.  Your taste buds will go crazy with just one bite!!

Pavlova

PAVLOVA!!!! I tried a new recipe for pavlova and for the first time it worked.  It had the most amazing marshmallow centre.  Filling the top of the pavlova with cream and a mixture of berries drenched in a cherry liqueur and sugar syrup. Only one bite and you will be hooked.  Only the sides have the sweet meringue taste with the soft center.

Wedding Cake 22 October 2011

Lanami and Samuel got married on the 22nd of October.  Many blessings, memories and happy days to you!  Thank you for the privilege to bake your wedding cake.

The cake:  Big Chocolate Mousse cake decorated with patterned chocolate sides, fresh red roses and a mixture of Amarula Liqeuer and Non-Alcoholic Coffee Chocolate truffles.  50 chocolate mousse cupcakes with a caramel cream hidden center topped with an Amarula truffle. 50 vanilla cupcakes with a caramel hidden center topped with cream cheese icing and non-alcoholic coffee truffles.

Wedding Cake 1 October 2011

Tannie Jo en Oom Len troue.  Twee pragtige mense het op 1 Oktober trou aan mekaar beloof.  Baie geluk en seën in oorvloed vir julle!

Die troukoek:  1 Groot Sjokolade Mousse koek met Amarula truffles, 1 Groot Wortelkoek met Roomkaas versiering en neute, 1 Groot Vanilla koek met botterversiering en vars rose en daarmee saam 150 sjokolade cupcakes met caramel in die middel en versier met sjokolade mousse.

Having family and friends close to you is the only way to succeed in life.  No job or earthly thing can give you the motivation and support to be creative and try new things.  God gave me the talent to bake and create and my family and friends is the best support structure I can ever ask for.  The people in these photos are my brothers and sisters in law.  I love all of them and we have all been through tough times.  My motto for my perfect life recipe is to never never never give up. That was one of the last sayings my mom shared with me.  Chase your dreams and make them your reality!
